I thought I would try a different way of getting inspired and create something aside from what I usually make. I bought these tiny scissors charms at a local bead store, and I will be using a pair for a new piece in my shop that I will be making soon, but I wanted to have a little fun first, so I made a tiny paper doll chain and no, I did not use the scissors charm, I used an Exacto knife instead and so it gave me an idea for the new piece. I thought I would share my sad results with all of you.

I think this would be fun if I could actually work this small (the paper doll chain ended up measuring 2"x3/4" ), but I just don't have the patience for it, I think. The poor little dolls seem to have two heads... :-/

So sometimes, doing something you have never done before will inspire a new project!
I will be posting the new piece this week, so stay tuned!
